Each client is quoted on a case-by-case basis. This can vary depending on quantity of windows, style, shape of windows, how fouled the windows are, if there are any special requirements for access or high reach, obscure or difficult to access windows. All these can alter the quote amount.

Our quoting system is primarily based on how long the job will take an experienced technician to complete and takes into account screen removal and installation.

For our residential clients we can produce an accurate quote based on images and google maps, however for a more complex property a site visit may be required.

For commercial, strata and storefronts a site visit will be required and a pack produced where necessary with all information regarding safe working, scope of works and all insurance details included.

JH Group staff are trained to BSCAA window cleaning standards (building services contractors association of Australia) and hold valid working at heights certification and white card as a basic standard. For specialised tasks such as use or high reach machinery some staff will hold relevant licenses.

Yes, JH Group Cleaning Services holds mandatory insurance. For peace of mind this document is included in all quotes.

Although we do our best, sometimes rain is inevitable. We are constantly checking BOM data leading up to your clean and can advise if rain will affect the day. Light rain doesn’t pose much of a problem and won’t affect your window's quality. It may affect the time taken to complete a job if rooves or any surfaces become a risk. In the unfortunate event of heavy rain, we will reschedule your appointment for a time that best suits you.

Yes we do, cleaning speciality glass with the correct cleaning techniques is highly important. Comfort plus and e-glass is becoming more popular for heating and energy saving but it’s not without cost. If a window cleaner has no expertise in this type of class they can damage and leave scratches very easily which could cost $$$$’s to replace.

Yes, however a site visit is required for each build and we are very strict around the process and what is required by the builders team before we clean the windows.

We use pure water for the exterior of windows which is pure H2O and contains no chemicals whatsoever. For traditional window cleaning methods, we use water and light detergent with a glide additive that is harmless to the environment. For spot and stain removal we can use harsher chemicals such as methylated spirits, acetone, orange oil or other solvent based cleaners but these will be used in moderation and controlled carefully.

Stained windows can occur after very long periods of not being cleaned. The salts and minerals picked up in the water droplets are left behind after the water evaporates and as glass is slightly porous, they react with the glass over time and cause a staining effect. This results in the glass being permanently damaged and requires restoration involving a lot of time and polishing to bring the glass back to its former glory. This is one reason why we suggest cleaning every 12 months to maintain the condition of the glass.
Unfortunately, on very dirty windows its hard to detect staining before the windows are cleaned. Our technicians will advise on at the earliest opportunity if this is the case.

At JH Group Cleaning Services we prefer bank EFT transfer on completion of the work as a payment method, cash is acceptable in some circumstances but no discount is given for cash payments. Residential customers will be invoiced that day and we do ask for prompt payment, commercial clients are offered 7-day invoice periods while storefronts are invoiced once a month which will reflect the works carried out in that period.

Yes! We can. If you have a fly screen net that is old or damaged, we can certainly replace on site. We carry most of the equipment and netting sizes on our fleet, however, please make it known at the time of quoting so we can be prepared. Re-netting screens costs $40 for most screens and doors. In extreme circumstances (very large screens) the price can range to $60 for the extra materials.

We don’t replace screen frames. This is a more specialised job requirement and upon removing the screen, if it’s very old or damaged we will inform you and not attempt to re-net it.

We certainly do! We have teamed up with our pressure washing partners to deliver such jobs of this nature. Whether it is building washes or driveway on their own OR a bundled with window cleaning, we can certainly cater for this.

JH Group Cleaning Services covers the greater Sydney area, for residential we mainly focus on the northwest to northeast however extra travel may be considered for the right property. For commercial, strata and storefronts we can travel anywhere from Wollongong to Newcastle and blue mountains depending on the size of work.
