Even if you just want to ask how you could clean something yourself, we will be happy to help and can even spend the time to educate your own staff how to maintain the windows correctly (for a small fee). Which sounds like we are losing our revenue but in reality, it’s just about passion and keeping our community looking amazing as well as the understanding that some customers wouldn’t be able to afford the regular cleans necessary to maintain their windows to a great standard but have time in the day to do it themselves.

What to expect

From first contact we will arrange a suitable time to come and meet with the person in charge of facilities maintenance. After which we will conduct a site walk around taking necessary imagery to product a SWMS and highlight any hazards we encounter. If we are required to gain access to the roof, we have a harness ready to go, alternatively we keep our drone on board and can take a look from the ground.

Once we are happy with the scope of work and all hazards have been documented we will send through a pack including necessary insurance documents, the quote and SWMS along with any other documentation required for the job (working with children or the elderly certificates etc.)

How much does window cleaning cost?

Each client is quoted on a case-by-case basis. This can vary depending on quantity of windows, style, shape of windows, how fouled the windows are, if there are any special requirements for access or high reach, obscure or difficult to access windows. All these can alter the quote amount.

Our quoting system is primarily based on how long the job will take an experienced technician to complete.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, JH Group Cleaning Services holds mandatory insurance. For peace of mind this document is included in all quotes. (click here for a copy of our insurance documents)

Do you provide rope access solutions?

While we do hold relevant working at heights certificates, unfortunately JH Group does not hold Rope access licenses. Rope access is a highly specialised industry and heavily regulated. We can however reach 4 stories (G-3) from the ground with the systems we use. Above that we would either require lifts to produce the best quality, or if rope access is the only solution we would have to decline the offer of business.
