Commercial Window Cleaning Sydney

If you manage a building, run a school, or own a commercial property in Sydney, the state of your windows are part of first impressions. Streaked, milky glass and dusty frames send the wrong message; clean, well-presented windows. JH Group Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing provides commercial window cleaning across Sydney for offices, schools, medical practices, premium showrooms, warehouses, and low-rise commercial buildings. We work to an exacting spec, on a collaborative schedule, with full insurance and a written quality guarantee.

Our scope is deliberate. We don’t take on rope access, abseil work, or high-rise cleaning — our commercial work is performed safely from the ground using water-fed pole systems with purified water, or from accessible platforms where the building allows. Keeping the scope tight maintains our standards.

Why commercial clients book us:

What Is Commercial Window Cleaning?

Commercial window cleaning is the scheduled, professional cleaning of glass, frames, sills, and screens on business premises — typically delivered on a recurring cycle (monthly, quarterly, or six-monthly) to keep the building presentable to staff, clients, and visitors. For low-rise buildings up to roughly four storeys, the work is performed safely from the ground using water-fed pole systems and deionised (pure) water, removing the safety risk of ladders against the building and giving a streak-free finish without harsh chemicals.

We work around your operating hours where the access allows, and out of hours by special arrangement when it doesn’t.

Unfortunately we don’t take on standard street-front retail or storefronts.

Warehouses & Industrial Window Cleaning

We do industrial window cleaning for warehouses, distribution centres, and manufacturing sites across Sydney. The practical benefits include; better natural light delivery through skylights and clerestory windows, safer sightlines for forklift and pedestrian movement, and a workspace that staff feel good walking into. Our technicians follow your site’s induction and PPE requirements as standard.

Low-Rise Commercial Buildings & Strata

Office parks, professional suites, medical centres, and low-rise strata commercial buildings up to roughly four storeys. We provide monthly, quarterly, or six-monthly schedule options depending on the scope. Certificates of currency for $20M Public Liability and Workers Compensation are issued on request — to oblige strata manager & facilities manager obligations

Important Note on Scope

We service buildings that can be safely cleaned from the ground using water-fed pole systems (typically up to four storeys), or from elevated work platforms where the building design supports it. We are licensed to operate boom-type lift over 11m. We do not offer rope access, abseil cleaning, or any form of high-rise window cleaning. If your building requires rope access, we’ll happily point you toward a Sydney specialist who handles that work.

Traditional Window Cleaning vs Pure Water Technology

There are two main methods used across the industry. Both have a place; the right method depends on the job.

The table below sets them out plainly.

FactorTraditional (Detergent + Squeegee)Pure Water Technology (DI System)
Finish qualityStreak-free if technique is right; risk of soap residue if notGenuinely streak-free, no chemical residue left on glass
How long it stays cleanDetergent residue can attract dust fasterNothing left behind — windows stay cleaner for longer
Height accessOften requires ladders against the buildingWater-fed poles reach four storeys safely from the ground
Operator safetyLadder risk increases with every storeyOperator stays at ground level
Frames, sills, screensCleaned separately, often a second passCleaned in the same pass as the glass
ChemicalsDetergents, glass cleaners, sometimes solventsPurified water only — better for plants, render, and surrounding landscaping
Best suited toDetail interior work; hard water restoration; small or reachable jobsRoutine exterior commercial servicing; schools; offices; warehouses

In practice, most commercial buildings get a combination: pure water systems for the exterior glass and traditional mop-and-squeegee technique for interior detail work and any specialist restoration. We bring both kits to every commercial site as standard. For high internal glass and skylights, we combine the benefits of Pure Water Technology, with a non-drip approach – using traditional methods which don’t require a squeegee

Our Window Cleaning Process

Our simple, proven process makes commercial window cleaning outcomes predictable, from first contact to final invoice.

Step 1

Site Assessment & Written Quote

A team member visits the site, walks the building, checks access points, height, glass condition, and any specialist scope (security screens, hard water staining, restricted access zones, after-hours requirements). You receive a written quote within 24 hours, scoped to your building — not a generic per-window rate.

Step 2

WHS, SWMS & Site Induction

Before work starts, the team signs in to your site, follows your visitor or contractor sign-in protocol, and reviews any site-specific safety requirements with the building or facilities manager. Safe Work Method Statements are supplied in advance for procurement, facilities, and safety officers that need them on file.

Step 3

The Clean

The team arrives on time with the equipment specified for the scope. Work moves through the building methodically — exterior glass, interior glass, frames, sills, accessible flyscreens. We work around staff, students, customers, and patients, keep equipment tidy, and keep walkways clear. No surprises, no shortcuts.

Step 4

Quality Check & Handover

Before pack-up, the lead checks the work against the brief. The site contact is invited to walk through and flag anything they’d like touched up; we sort it on the spot. A completion confirmation is sent through, and the next visit is locked in if the property is on a regular cycle.

Why Sydney Commercial Clients Choose JH Group

$20 million Public Liability cover and full Workers Compensation for every team member. Certificates of currency are provided on request — useful for procurement teams, strata managers, and facilities offices that need them on file. All staff have police checks and Working With Children checks

Our deionised water systems filter minerals and impurities out of the water before it reaches the glass. The result is a streak-free finish without harsh chemicals — better for the building, better for surrounding landscaping, and better for the next clean because there’s no detergent residue left to attract dust.

For commercial clients, the value of a window cleaning contract is consistency. Once we’re booked in, we turn up. If something needs to shift, you hear from us early — not on the day. Recurring schedules can be set monthly, quarterly, or six-monthly depending on the building.

If anything isn’t right when we leave, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll come back and fix it at no extra cost. Our reputation has been built on getting it right the first visit.

We have dozens of positive Google Reviews — every one from a real client.  Search “JH Group Window Cleaning” on Google to read them.

In keeping with the founder’s military service background, our team operates with a disciplined, methodical approach. Equipment is checked before we leave the depot. Sites are kept tidy throughout the job. Time is respected — ours and yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Commercial Window Cleaning Sydney

There’s no single rate that fits every building. Pricing depends on the number of windows, building height, access, frequency of service (a regular schedule costs less per visit than a one-off), and any specialist scope like screen cleaning, hard water restoration, or after-hours work. We provide a written quote after a free site visit, so the number you see on the quote is the number that goes on the invoice.

Yes. We service primary schools, secondary schools, early learning centres, and tertiary education facilities across Sydney. Work is scheduled outside teaching hours or during school holidays where the calendar supports it. SWMS, certificates of insurance, and contractor compliance documentation are supplied for facilities and operations teams as standard.

No. Our scope is low-rise — buildings that can be cleaned safely from the ground using water-fed pole systems, or from accessible platforms (typically up to four storeys). We do not offer rope access or abseil window cleaning. If your building needs rope access, we’re happy to refer you to a Sydney specialist who does that work.

For most office buildings, showrooms, schools, warehouses and industrial: quarterly or biannually is the standard rhythm. The right frequency depends on location, foot traffic, exposure to dust and pollution, and how visible the glass is to clients and staff.

Yes. Every team member is covered by $20 million Public Liability insurance and full Workers Compensation. Certificates of currency are issued on request — most procurement and facilities teams ask for these as part of contractor onboarding.

Yes. Safe Work Method Statements are provided on request before any work commences. We also follow site-specific inductions, sign-in procedures, contractor briefings, and access protocols set by the building or facility — standard practice on commercial sites.

Pure water cleaning isn’t affected by light rainfall, the way traditional detergent cleaning is. Properly cleaned glass repels rainwater rather than streaking from it — the rain runs off without leaving marks. We’ll only reschedule for genuinely unsafe conditions, such as strong winds when working at height, or heavy storms.

Yes, by arrangement. Out-of-hours and weekend work is quoted separately and confirmed in advance. Schools generally prefer holiday schedules. 24/7 commercial operations are accommodated around shift patterns. We don’t treat after-hours as the default — it’s a special-arrangement service with additional cost.

Yes. We handle industrial window cleaning for warehouses, distribution centres, and manufacturing facilities across Sydney. We follow your site’s induction, PPE, and access requirements as standard, and we work around forklift and operational traffic to keep the site running safely while we’re on it.

Yes. Most of our commercial clients are on a recurring schedule — monthly, quarterly, or six-monthly — with a single point of contact, predictable invoicing, and locked-in dates the building manager can plan around. Standard payment terms net 7 or 14 days

Three options:

If you manage a commercial property, run a school, or own a building anywhere across Sydney, we’d value the opportunity to quote. The site visit is free, the quote is detailed, and there’s no obligation. Whether it’s a single low-rise office building in Parramatta, a school site in the Hills District, or a multi-site facilities portfolio across Western Sydney, the conversation starts the same way — a phone call or an email.
